Terms of service
Last updated: 27 October 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Kernel Quad LLC ("KernelQuad", "we"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you use KernelQuad on behalf of an institution or company, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for it. A separate written agreement with an institution takes precedence over these terms.
1. The service
KernelQuad provides hosted data science workspaces, compute (including GPUs) and related tools. The service is currently in early access: features may change, and we may modify or discontinue parts of it with reasonable notice.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure and be at least 16 years old. You are responsible for activity under your account.
3. Acceptable use
You must follow our acceptable use policy. We may suspend workloads or accounts that violate it, including immediately where needed to protect the service or others.
4. Your content
You keep all rights to the code, data and other content you put into KernelQuad. You give us only the permissions needed to host, process, back up and display it to you and the people you share it with. You are responsible for having the rights to the data you upload.
5. Fees and budgets
Paid plans are billed as described in your order or plan. Budget caps you or your institution set are enforced by stopping or pausing workloads when the cap is reached; you will not be charged for usage above an active hard cap. Free tiers and early-access allowances may change.
6. Availability and backups
We work to keep the service available and back up user data regularly, but during early access we do not guarantee a specific uptime. Keep your own copies of important work.
7. Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or end access for breach of these terms. After termination you may request an export of your content for 30 days, after which it is deleted as described in our privacy policy.
8. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" to the extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that it will be error-free or uninterrupted.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. We will notify account holders of material changes before they take effect.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, unless mandatory local law where you live provides otherwise.
